An interview on BBC 6 Music

I thought you might be interested to know that Shon Dale-Jones, my friend from Hoipolloi, appeared on the BBC Radio 6 Music breakfast show with Shaun Keaveny to chat about the forthcoming broadcast of Floating on BBC Radio 4. Sadly I (Hugh Hughes) wasn’t able to get along to join them.

Here’s the link to listen to here Shon on Shaun’s show (funny how those words are pronounced the same way but spelt differently! And there are other ways of spelling it too – such as Sean).

Scroll along to about 2hrs and 17mins in to catch Shon. Oh, and it’ll be available to listen to until the end of Tue 6 Sept.

For those of you who don’t know, Floating was the very first Hugh Hughes production. It’s the story of Anglesey breaking free from the mainland of Wales on 1 April 1982 and it’s amazing voyage across the Atlantic Ocean.

It’s fantastic that BBC R4 have agreed to make a radio play about the Isle of Anglesey and I’m excited that you’ll get to hear it on Friday 9 September at 2.15pm.
